Rambu Tuka ceremony is a series of rituals performed in order to improve
tongkonan, usually begins in the morning when the sun rises. There are several processions are conducted in this ceremony, namely:
Ma'pallin
Exorcisms by slaughtering a chicken. It aims to cleanse themselves from the mistakes that have been done.
Mangika prickly
Invoke the presence and blessing of the gods with the chicken slaughter.
Mangipang (mangrapa)
Giving offerings in the family somewhere outside tongkonan, in order to invoke the blessings of the ancestors. Animals were sacrificed at this stage is a pig.
Ma'pande to matua
Giving offerings to ancestors who carried on the west tongkonan. It is believed that ancestors settled temporarily in the middle tongkonan diupacarakan.
Mangrara banua
In this process all the family grove will be present, including indigenous stakeholders, representatives from each tongkonan, and invitees. Family members will gather by lineage.
